AJ Tracey's New Sound!!

West London artist AJ Tracey has just released his new single 'Ladbroke Grove' a UK Garage inspired song which is bound to be ruling the clubs for the summer.

The song has that old skool 2-step bounce that we all know accompanied by that female vocal. This latest release from Tracey is vocalled by Jorja Smith and the sample has been pitched up.

Tracey then proceeds to rap on the 2-step beat.

Although, granted, it is a through and through summer jam, one can only be disappointed to see a talented lyricist such as AJ Tracey put his real talent on the back-burner to deliver generic lyrics about girls and summer. The song gives more pop vibes than UK Garage as there is not enough sub-bass for it to really be categorised as UK Garage.

Listeners find themselves on the edge of their seat waiting for that moment when Tracey showcases his lyricism and drops the light-hearted summer-centric lyrics only to find themselves at the end of the song, disappointed and confused.

This release may see Tracey alienate his fans who love his lyricism and his raw, uncensored aura.
