Bradford rapper Lunar C premiered his new track 'Hindsight' earlier this April and it is fair to say it is fantastic.
The West Yorkshire rapper really captures the traditional Hip-hop sound despite all the hype around trap and drill music in the hip-hop world. When I listen to the song I feel like Lunar C is the UK's answer to Chance the Rapper.

The main melody is made up of three satisfying electric piano chord and a plucked synth bass, at least for the verses. After sixteen bars an oscillated synth is brought in to provide a bit more movement to the production.
The chorus provides a filtered vocal sample with some moderate reverb but it does just the trick and brings the mix together beautifully.
In regards to the drums, it is a very simple construction. we hear a kick followed by a rimshot, however along with the rimshot we have a tambourine to add a light percussive element to the track.
Just like, songs such as 'I love it' by Lil Pump or 'Rack City' by Tyga the beauty lies in the simplicity. With deep lyrics about bad lifestyle choices, sex and drug relapse it's beautiful listen and a UK artist bound to blow.
