Azealia Banks Leaks In Excelsis!!

No one fuses Hip-hop and house quite like the troublesome Azealia Banks but her latest release 'In Excelsis' sends all of the trouble away and exposes nothing but her raw talent.

The backing track for this single has that 90's House Organ sound that one would affiliate with Robin S hit 'Show me Love'. Although Azealia is a fierce rapper she has decided to showcase her musical theatre training on this track and provides listeners with her singing which is on par with a lot of full-time singer songwriters. The lyrics, however, are what makes this song so memorable. Talks of being on clouds admiring the ocean and blue jays in the sky. It's all very utopian, a change from her aggressive feisty rapping which can be heard on songs such as 'Pyrex Princess'.

'In Excelsis' has been teased since late 2016 and although the song is a nice listen. It is not a three year spectacular.
