After a hell of a lot of controversy and a lot of delayed releases, Harlem rapper Azealia Banks is finally ready to touch back down in the UK where her career all got started in 2009 on XL recordings. She will undoubtedly bring her rowdy, crazy energy with her as well as that controversial persona we all secretly love as she hits stages in Ireland, Manchester and finally London. This is a much needed refreshing tour for the rapper, who, for the last four years, has continuously, endlessly toured the US with the odd single release here and there. The last release we had from the rapper/singer was a Christmas EP, with the leading single 'Icy Colors Change'

The lead single definitely brought back the Banks we all know and love. Rapping her hard hitting rap vocals over a future house beat. One cannot really compare to any other artist out now. However, 2018 may have been somewhat disappointing for fans of Miss Banks as her promised body of work 'Fantasea Vol. 2' was not released in the summer as she had promised. Fans have just been relying on snippets of singles here and there and occasionally a full song on youtube to keep them satisfied.
Of course, in typical Azealia Banks style, her arrival in the UK was cloaked in controversy and drama as she clashed with flight attendants on an Aer Lingus flight from London Gatwick airport to Dublin for her sold out show. Not only did she clash with the flight attendants but labeled all Irish women as 'Ugly' and chose to remove herself from the plane, demanding her luggage be taken off the plane thereby delaying the flight by over half an hour meaning she would end up having to take a ferry to Dublin. However, the fans in Dublin were treated to the show of their lives as Banks gave out her skincare products free of charge and brung the energy the fans had longed for since her 2015 appearance at Leeds Festival.
There are still 3 more sold out shows to come and Banks has a lot to prove as she enters the new year with fans begging for her new music and her electrifying live performances.
