Bexey's track for you 'Boring People'

Bexey is a UK white rapper from Romford, who here at Viber we play close attention too (you may remember him our Viber x Gang episode four). He is a unique and dare I say it Punk-esque artist who makes a fusion of alt-rap, singing, trap and…. well I don’t know?

His videos feature on multiple YouTube Channels, from giants like World Star Hip Hop, where he has racked up an staggering 15.6 million views combined, to other more lowkey hip-hop channels. However, this latest track was released on the 'デーモン Astari' channel and NOT Bexey's official channel.

For me, 'Boring People' with it's British trap beat, unlike Bexey himself, is fairly bog standard and unoriginal. I can imagine this track being blasted at drug fuelled illegal raves, which I am proud to say I would NEVER attend.

However, his versatile flows which breaks into singing is something unique. The hook/chorus is by far the best segment of the song. As far as the lyrics and delivery go, the rest is what it is. Fairly uninspired really.

The video highlights Bexey's out-there style. It's different, glitchy and distorted. It shows him in both a deserted woodland and in a studio with a moving psychedelic background. The whole video is fairly psychedelic actually. His outlandish fashion choices only add to the feel of the video and will remind viewers of that bold, eccentric aesthetic he owns.

On to my final thoughts, in all honesty it's not my cup of tea, but I respect its originality and chorus which yes I would sing! I can imagine being blind drunk and playing this at a shit house party just to let everyone know how BORING they actually are ha ha ha haaaaaa.

Overall, well worth a listen and look, Viber would NEVER steer you wrong would we!! Peace guys.
