Dani Dl Drops New House Track!!!

Spanish producer/DJ Dani DL has dropped his new single 'About You' on the Spanish 'Natura' label and it is safe to say he has delivered with this single.

A simple garage house track with that quintessential sidechained 909 kick as well as a dark sub bass.

Like any good garage house track is has a nice house organ melody and after the drop a piano chord hit is introduced, the organ melody also becomes totally unfiltered. There is also a pad sound that drifts in and out to provide the track with some ambience.

About You EP

The drum pattern is standard. A 909 kick and the icon open hi-hat that makes house music. However, instead of just a standard clap in this track we get not just a clap but also a 909 snare that interjects during the offbeats giving the track an extra groove.

Although I do like the majority of the track, the kick is far too compressed and sits way to way in front of the other instruments. Not only is it over compressed but it is horribly mixed with the sub bass so we we get one big muddy thump ruining the light melody.

Although it is not a club banger per se it definitely works as an easy listening garage house track for the summer.
