Logan Sama & Riko Dan Shell down Rinse FM!!!!

Yesterday a grime original from Bow E3 touched the Rinse FM airwaves and paired up with grime veteran DJ Logan Sama for a monster grime set. Who is that grime original? That would be Riko. From rapping with MC Wiley Kat (Wiley) over Jungle beats on pirate radio in 1997 to spitting flames in 2019 Riko Dan (grime's original yardie flow man) has not lost his passion for the music and nor his friendships as he touched the grime original's stage to pay tribute to the Godfather of Grime on his Birthday this month. It's fair to say we have not seen many releases from Riko over the years since Wiley parted ways with his Roll Deep Entourage and decided to focus on his solo career. However it is nice to see how someone who was there at the start still stays true to the music. Without the egotism of a diamond wearing American hip-hop superstar, Riko humbles listeners as he takes it back to basics and shows us he will never neglect his roots.
