Pop Smoke's 'Mood Swings' (REMIX)

The Late Pop Smoke was only just tapping into his full potential before his early demise and had the love and respect of his peers like Chance the Rapper, Nicki Minaj, Tyga and Quavo to name a few as well as old school heads like 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg. His last album was entitled 'Shoot For the Stars, Aim for the Moon' and I hope there's a heaven because if there is he's most definitely up there chilling with the best.

As an artist he was eclectic in the urban scene spitting on hip hop, drill and R&B but somehow, at least in my view, he does what very few can do and bridges the gap perfectly and no I am not kissing his ass because he's passed that’s my view so deal with it.

The remix of 'Mood Swings' which aside from TJay who was on the original track, has the addition of R&B singer Summer Walker who gives it a smoothness that is reminiscent of 50 Cent's 'Massacare Run' but also fuses Trap which gives it a new school edge.

Admittedly, the lyrics and beat don’t stretch the envelop like Viber's own monster producer Ike Jeramiah (Remember to check our socials and website for new and original beats and yes he can give you the stems), however, it is a nice summer track to Viber out to. Although it seems he may not have much unreleased material like a 2pac, his legacy, as short as it was, will be maintained and gets the Viber co sign.

For the remix there is no video there is a gif image of a rose which reminds me of Ghetts 'Black Rose'. However the video for the original track was typical soft porn with 2 “hot” girls posing in different rooms of a luxury house which is a shame as it takes away from the chilled vibe of the track with its lack of narrative.

Overall it is a decent track.
