Roby Koenigs' Latest and Greatest!!!

It's 25th April 2019 and Roby Koenigs has just released a new single on the NOIZE (Plasmapool) label and this may be his best.

The Liquid D'n'B Track is truly a masterpiece and with so few elements relays so many emotions. The track gives listeners a melodic set of spacey piano chords and the floaty pads provide an ambience that evokes a euphoric high in the listener.

Of course, it's a D'n'B track so the heavy, compressed kick is still there, but for this single cleverly the sub-bass is just felt and not heard. There's no aggressive saw bass or abhorrent squares muddying up the mix. Just an oscillating sub-bass that the pads rest on.

The Croatian producer/DJ has organised this beat well and that is to be lauded. However, there are some segments of the track where the white noise is grating. Of course meant to enhance the ambient effect of the track but all in good measure maybe a tincy bit more reverb would have done the trick. But i cannot discredit Roby with this one.
