Wiley Drops Diss Track on Skepta AND Dizzee Rascal

It’s fair to say Wiley is one of the most legendary emcee’s to ever touch a mic in the UK and is undoubtedly the King of Grime, however, Wiley is no stranger to a clash. Whether it’s him vs Kano on Lord of the mics I or vs Nasty Jack on stage at a sidewinder event we all know Wiley is a tough opponent and a dangerous war emcee. That being said, he has just dropped a new diss track on Skepta and Dizzee Rascal entitled ‘Flip the Table’. Wiley and Dizzee Rascal’s beef dates all the way back to 2003 when Dizzee Rascal got stabbed in Ayia Nappa on a trip with Wiley and he has blamed Wiley ever since for the life threating incident. Meanwhile Wiley and Skepta’s beef is brand new. Wiley has taken offence to the fact that Skepta collaborated with Dizzee Rascal on their relatively new track, ‘Money Right’ and now, fans watch eagerly as Wiley takes his revenge after this so called betrayal by Skepta a close friend of Wiley’s.

The diss track is over an old instrumental produced by Wiley. It is in fact a remix of  the UK grime instrumental ‘Hench’ produced by JME the brother of Skepta. This beat was chosen by Wiley purposely to cause offense to Skepta as of course he loves and respects his brother. Wiley refers to himself as the “King of kings” and the “King of wins” asserting his superiority over both artists. He states the he can no longer trust them and that they are both “out of luck”. He then goes on to call Dizzee a “Grime scene quitter” highlighting and shaming Dizzee Rascal’s transition from UK grime music to more commercial, mainstream music. Wiley even goes to the extent of labelling Skepta as “stuck up” and labels Skepta’s crew (Boy Better Know) a “F*ck Up”. Fans are anticipating a reply from Skepta and with luck even a reply from Dizzee.

Only time will tell the result of this diss track, but for now UK grime fans will feast on this diss track dropped by Wiley eagerly awaiting any response.
