YG's Coachella Performance!!!

California rapper YG kicked off his amazing Coachella set this year with his hit single 'BPT' A tribute song to his home town of Compton (a.k.a 'Bompton').

For his grand entrance, YG rose from a trap door on the stage, standing on a metal structure that had him performing 2m above the stage engulfed by dry ice flashing lights. He was met with cheers and applause as he began to perform the song and the rest of the set was nothing short of amazing.

The choice of 'BPT' as his introduction track was inspired by Nipsey Hussle a fellow Compton rapper who recently died a tragic death as a result of a drive-by shooting in his old neighbourhood. Yg's set including hits such as 'FDT,' 'Get Low,' 'You Broke,' and 'Toot It and Boot It'. He was even joined on stage by the likes of 2 Chaniz, Big Sean and Tyga.

For the Hip-Hop scene YG has definitely made his Coachella mark and has done so while simultaneously mourning the loss of a close collaborator artist. Watch the video below to see YG's 'BPT' Coachella performance.
